I am a blogger, freelance travel writer and professionally qualified Chartered Institute of Marketing manager, based in Kampala since 2009. I specialise in online communications for tourism and work with numerous lodges, airlines, tour operators and activity providers in Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda and Zambia.

My blog, Diary of a Muzungu has twice been awarded Best Digital Tourism Media at Uganda's Tourism Excellence Awards. I have been writing Diary of a Muzungu since 2008.

I offer the following communication services:

• Marketing strategies.
• Copywriting for web, social media, newsletters, promotions. Subjects of particular interest include: adventure, African culture, birdlife, conservation, eating out.
• Social media marketing campaign strategies and implementation.
• Project management of graphic design (for web or print).
• Training: one to one, mentoring or groups. Subjects: general marketing skills, online marketing, social media, blogging, email marketing and more. Training is both theoretical and practical, focusing on real life examples and the local context.
